The Indian Oil group gives 450 scholarships for students for undergraduate studies in India. A good academic record is the necessity and the children from the lower  income group are given the first preference. 250 of the 450 scholarships are for the students for completing Class XII and the students are given Rs 1,000 every month for 2 years. 40 MBBS studnets and 100 engineering students are given Rs 2,000 a month for 4 years. 60 students from the management stream are given the scholarship of Rs 2,000 a month for 2 years.
