National Overseas Scholarship
60 scholarships are offered every year to undergraduates, post graduates and students doing research. The subjects which cannot be pursued in India due to the lack of facilities are given these scholarships. Subjects like Printing technology, paper technology, robotics and automation and laser technology are all supported. For the bachelor programmes Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum, Rs 2.9 for master programmes and for research programmes Rs 3.4 lakhs are awarded.

What are the eligibility criteria?
The age bar for applying is 35 and the the scholarships are meant for scheduled casts, scheduled tribes, de-notified nomadic tribes with parental income not exceding Rs 5,000 per month.
